BIOGRAPHY

Bernd Sterner is a pharmacist specializing in pharmaceutical technology. During his doctoral thesis, he focused on pre-clinical formulation development for sustained release formulations targeting osteoarthritis treatment in synovial joints.

Bernd began his career at Aenova, dedicating approximately 10 years to developing oral solid dosage forms for high potent compounds. In late 2023, he transitioned to Gen-Plus as head of R&D, where he leads the development of complex and innovative dosage forms, including 2D printing of oro-dispersible films.
