Biography

Tobi, with Merck since 2017, currently holds the position of Director & Head of Liquid Formulation R&D in the Life Science Business. Leading a team with increasing responsibilities, he focuses on developing new excipients and formulation technologies for mAbs, Vaccines, and Viral Vectors. Notably, the Viscosity Reduction Platform stands out as his signature project at Merck.

Before transitioning to industry, Tobi held academic positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and UNSW Australia.
